First IUI in the books

We did the IUI (DH's count was excellent) this morning after a round of 50mg Clomid.

My best and biggest follie (18mm 2 days ago) was on my right side (tubeless side) but RE had me trigger and do the IUI today.

Hard to feel hopeful because of which side it is, at the same time the whole process of the IUI was pretty good and it was nice to be cancelled. Hope it works but trying to be realistic.

IUI was easy but I am crampy now.



 6/09 right tube loss (fallopian torsion) 12/09 BFP #1 (DD born 9/10)
8/12 dx Lupus (ANA+/APA-), 12/12 BFP #2  natural m/c 6w 2d 
TTC#2  since 9/12  50mg Clomid/Ovidrel IUI #1 Beta 10/4=BFN
                             50mg Clomid/Ovidrel IUI #2 Beta 11/1= BFN
                                  100 mg Clomid/Ovidrel IUI #3 Beta 12/26=BFFN
100 mg Clomid/Ovidrel IUI #4 Beta 2/14= BFFN
Took a LONG Break

    So it is still possible you will release from the left side right?  Just making sure I have my understanding down.

    Good luck! There are a few of us that had IUIs within a couple days of each other. I am 2dpiui, and Roughkat I believe is 3dpiui. So we're all in the 2ww together. 

    Try to stay positive. It is totally possible for your left tube to pick up that egg on the right side, and there's always a chance you'll O from both sides.

    Yeah, I've never really understood how the opposite tube could pick up an egg but I know it can happen, so I have my fingers crossed for you!  Glad to hear that DH's numbers look good.  I hope the cramping subsides soon and you have a nice weekend ahead of you!

    Good luck! I have one tube as well and seems like such a waste for the side with no tube to do anything. I have also heard the remaining tube can pick it up and am hoping that happens for you.
