I feel very much like the cliche today, barefoot and pregnant, my shoes are uncomfortable and my feet have spread so it's hard to find comfortable shoes to wear. Anyone else tired of shoes because they aren't comfortable?
I can't stand real shoes, but that was even before I got pregnant. I've worn real shoes, other than running, maybe 10 times since 2011 (when I got out of the Marine Corps and didn't have to wear combat boots anymore). I wear flip flops, flats and heels and that's it. I have a bone spur that makes shoes hurt.
I've only work crock flip flips since the end if April. I mostly walk around barefoot all day at work and its great. I'm pretty sure I'll need something else soon since I live in Chicago. I think shoe shopping might be on the schedule this weekend.
I have been wearing Vibrams (barefoot running shoes) for the last 3 years. I love them. I feel like I am barefoot and they are so comfortable I can't even put on real shoes anymore. They have been amazing while pregnant. They allow my feet to spread and swell without constricting them.

VFF buddy! I've been rocking my Birks this summer because it's been warm, but when it gets colder, I'll probably shift to my toe shoes. Otherwise, I'm barefoot. I don't like constricting shoes, at all.

My feet have swollen to the point that I had to buy a pair of sandals 1.5 sizes up:( I refuse to buy any more, so at this point I am praying that it stays warm enough for flippy floppies until he arrives (in AL it should)!
I work in a Chem lab so I have to wear real shoes at all times. My solution is skater shoes a size to big with the laces as loose as they go. I would rather be barefoot but this way my feet can swell without getting stuck in my shoes and I don't get in trouble at work.
I haven't worn real shoes since, like, April. I don't know what I will do when it gets too cold for flip flops. I am seriously considering wearing slippers at that point, though I'm not sure how well that will go over at work...
This! I'm thinking of buying some slippers that can pass as shoes for the colder months. I'm still wearing sandals though for now!
I've only been able to wear flip flops for months now due to the swelling. Yesterday SO came home from work as I was preparing his lunch and was like "Barefoot, pregnant, and cooking me lunch? Loving this!" We had a good laugh.

Is it bad that I opened this post thinking it was about wine? Guess what we know what I'm missing.
