21 weeks and still no "real" baby bump!! When did you get yours???

Sooo yeah.. 21 weeks and no one would even think I'm pregnant. I'm not a skinny gal but not super overweight either and I know that affects the bump. I was getting a pedicure and there was a gal in there with a body style similar to mine and I overheard her say she's due jan 20th. Well I'm due the 30th so she's only 10 days ahead of me. When she stood up I COULDN'T believe how she looked so much more pregnant than me. I heard her say its her first baby too. I know everyone's body is different and the only thing that matters is that baby is growing and healthy but I find this to be so interesting. So tell me.... When did you get your bump???

With DD I was around 18 weeks, this time it was more like 16.

I have one that started becoming an actual bump around 18 weeks but still feel like I have seen so many pics of HUGE ladies at 20 weeks and I am nowhere near that with twins. I have gained 20 pounds and think 10 is belly and 10 is in my rear end lol. I am betting you will get it very soon!!!! Baby is growing big in the next few weeks!!!!

I guess my bump popped around 16 weeks, but I was able to hide it and not announce (at work) until 19 weeks. But that week I did have someone blatantly look at my belly, so by 19 it was definitely obvious.

It is so hard to not compare yourself to others. I've looked up 'bump' pictures online for people with twins the same week as me and I am usually floored at how huge some of them are. Then I remind myself of my last u/s and my babies were actually measuring a few days ahead - and tell myself not to worry.

I'm petite and slender. Small bump around 7 months and more noticeable bump around 8 months. I've only gained 23 lbs and I hear comments all the time about my small bump, but my little guy has always measured on track or ahead.

Literally made me LOL with your 10 pounds in your rear!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one googling bump pics and comparing myself to others. I lost 20 pounds due to ms so I'm actually about 15 pounds lower than my pre-pregnancy weight so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I was put out of work by my doc due to my extreme nausea and went back last week on Thursday and NO ONE wanted to ask if I was pregnant because I looked thinner and no sign of a bump. They thought something bad had happened. I know it's not a bad thing to not have a noticeable bump yet but I'm just curious.

Well its no secret since i vent about it often that I'm overweight but j started showing at like 13 weeks. I lost weight prior to our cycle and a lot of the weight came off my belly. So when it started to show everyone noticed. Every one carries different, I have a friend that didn't show until 30 weeks. The baby is growing more now so you should show in upcoming weeks. I know how sucky it can be To not show after all we went thru to get here. Hang in there hun!

I had an obvious bump by 16 weeks with the twin pregnancy. This time around I have a blump at 16 weeks but that's really due to my all carb diet & early muscle separation.

For my first, I remember feeling so sad that I didn't have a proper bump..it was there but minimally. Then around week 24, holy hell it popped out like nobody's business and there was no looking back! Your bump will pop before you know it and you'll wonder what life was like before you had one (and could shave your own legs

I agree that it is really tough not comparing yourself to others. I had to stop looking at the "hump day bump day" threads on my month board because it was making me nervous that my bump is so much smaller than others.

This weekend my cousin said to me "I wonder when you will pop" and I looked down thinking "i thought I already did." Depending on what I am wearing I can still hide being pregnant or in some clothes I still just look fat instead of pregnant.

I just ran into a neighbor and told her I'm 20 weeks pregnant and she was stunned and said I wasn't showing at all. I thought I popped and was clearly visible at 19 weeks, but I guess not so much. My u/s tech at MFM said I was carrying small, but not to worry b/c LO was measuring on track, if not a bit large. Maybe it's a good thing and means it will be easier to regain shape post-baby? Who knows.
