Stumbled across the name Runa. What do you think?

I'm okay with Luna and Ruth, but Runa seems so much more harsh to my ear.

When I was a kid I remember reading a book with a Runa. In the book, it was a nickname for Gudrun, who was named after a character in an Icelandic saga. I thought that was a really interesting story to have behind your name. I'm not sure how much I like it on its own.

It's one of those names that I think would grow on me if I heard it more. I'm just not very familiar with it. I've never heard it on someone in real life.

I think you would Runa her life by giving her that name. It reminds me of prunes, which in turn reminds me of constipation.

Because it has a cultural/ethnic origin, I wouldn't side-eye it too much, but I just hear "ruin" when I say it so, for that reason, I don't like it.
