Activity ideas for a 2 year old birthday party

Hi!  I am in the final stages of planning my son's birthday party.  It will be held at a local museum that has a great play area for children.  However, we will be moving to a private room for the food.  I am looking for some ideas to keep the kids busy while we are eating - thanks!

    We had a Thomas the Train themed party when our little guy turned 2.  We bought wooden trains from the Oriental Trading Company and had waterproof markers and stickers for the kids to decorate.  We did this same concept with airplanes for his EOY preschool party last year.  Keeps them busy for a while and no mess!  You can find them by the dozen on Etsy and/or the party supply companies.

    Just make sure to have lots of toys available. They'll probably be too young to understand and cooperate with games but will love playing with toys.
