There are a lot of eye roll worthy things on Pinterest, but few make me cringe more than pins like this:
"OMG!!! Cookie dough-caramel-oreo-fudge-brownie-ice cream-sandwich-cupcake-pie-bars!!! So good and so easy to make!!! You'll never make another brownie-ice cream-sandwich-cupcake-pie-bar recipe again!"

Agreed. It makes me cringe because it's probably made with canned cookie dough, jarred caramel sauce, and not a single homemade thing in it.
As an American I am mortified by all the gun violence and am sick and tired of hearing about gun owners rights. I don't understand why a certain group of people are so fixated in their interpretation of the 2nd amendment and forget about all the other parts of the Constitution.

Someone told me my cakes for Howell's birthday were "worthy of pinterest." No. I made them with my own skills and I didn't need to see anything pinned to make them.

I would totally take that as a compliment! i think they mean that people would make it and repin it! i bet it was really nice! was yours that white and blue one that faded out?
It was but that wasn't the actual party day cake, which looked much better.
I think Sandra Lee is a crock. Do we really need cooking shows that feature mostly preprepared food? No, no we don't. "Semi-homemade" is such a stupid term.
I think lace leggings and tights just make a person look like they have incredibly intricate leg hair. I think the leggings look trashy on babies for the most part.

Right? She cooks how I did when I had my first apartment and only knew how to doctor stuff up. I don't need to know how to doctor up a jar of spaghetti sauce.

In addition to this, I'm tired of these recipes being "shared" on Facebook on a daily basis. I don't need a "Dip that's like crack" or any recipe that has a dozen exclamation points !!eleventy!!
I think the glasses Jenny McCarthy wears on the View to look more intelligent make her look more like a stripper. Like the sexy librarian or something. Maybe she is in the camp of can do no right because of her abominable stance she took on vaccines.
I think when you say to someone "let's do lunch sometime" you should ACTUALLY HAVE LUNCH TOGETHER at some point in your life. Especially when that someone is trying to schedule time with you. Rude.

OK. I just choked on some of my coffee while I read this. You are too funny. And I completely agree about her. Who you trying to fool with those glasses, Jenny!!! And the vaccine thing kills me. UGH!
I am so confused as to why the US is getting involved in the Syria issue. I don't agree with what's going on there either, but since when was America the World police? We are just asking for more attacks on us.
This is probably more like a FFFC but I have a FB friend (who I do know but is more like a friend of my close friend) who home schools her oldest who is 11. I am not knocking homeschooling at all, FTR. The problem I have with her is that in every single FB post she either misspells something or uses "than" instead of "then" or "your" instead of "you're" and I can't help but cringe and wonder WHY THE FUCK are you in charge of your child's education if you can't even spell and use the correct words in your ridiculous run on sentences!!! I know it's just FB and I don't always write perfect sentences either but it still annoys me.

I have friends on FB, who are teachers, and they do this as well.
On the Pinterest theme...I don't know if this is an Unpopular Opinion or anything, but I can't help but roll my eyes when people pin more than one or two "workout plans" that claim they will magically sculpt your whatever.
First of all, you're not going to do 20 of these "magic" routines, so why are you pinning that many of them? You do know that pinning them isn't a workout in and of itself, right?
Second, most of these things are INSANE. Yes, if you do this, you'll be in great shape. But you know what? You have to already BE in great shape just to manage half of these freaking plans.
DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD GOOD SQUATS ARE?! I have a friend who has been hardcore into working out for 5 years now. His body is phenomenal and he's incredibly strong. Even he would be incapable of doing 95 fucking squats in one session, that is absolutely absurd. I mean, maybe if you're doing some stupid Crossfit fake version of a squat...but if you're doing real squats then STFU with this noise.

ITA. Clinton had Kosovo, Bush had Iraq, and I guess Obama needs one, so Syria it is.
Except Kosovo was done with honest intentions and Syria would be honest intentions. W. just wanted to blow Middle Eastern people up and made up a bunch of lies to get everyone on board. I believe Syria is a threat to the UK and they helped us with Iraq. I don't necessarily think we need to get involved but I also see how some may come to that conclusion.

LMAO at "STFU with this noise". I agree that some of these work out plans are insane and if people were doing them correctly then they would either be work out Gods or passed out on the floor.

Dude. I asked my best friend from HS (we haven't seen or talked to each other since I was pregnant) if she wanted to meet up for lunch, and she was like "let me check my schedule, and I'll get back to you". Yeah, never heard back from her. Bitch.

S/O Jenny McCarthy, it pisses me off that she's dating Donnie Wahlberg. He's so awesome and she is such a joke. Also, I may be a little jealous. Stop throwing it in my face, People magazine!!!
The problem with shootings is not guns, it's the fact that mentally ill people are ignored and work out their problems by choosing targets. If mental health were funded appropriately, there would be fewer mass murders like the one this week.
It's the same with immigration reform. I imagine most illegal immigrants just want a chance at the American
dream, but the bureaucracy involved makes it almost impossible for
someone with little to no education to make it into the country. Fund immigration. They are so behind that it takes years to become a U.S. citizen. Give them the workers and funding they need so that people can come here legally.

But why are the mentally ill even allowed to buy guns? There should, at the very least, be a more stringent screening process to keep guns out of the hands of homicidal maniacs. Don't remove the second amendment but do something to keep the people safe from bloodbaths.
I totally get that my students have special needs but it really bothers me that one of the parents treats their son like he's a baby. He watches the Wiggles and got Wiggles movies for his birthday. He turned 19. She also talks to him like a baby. He had an accident at school and she said "uh oh" like we would to our babies. How does she expect her son to communicate/interact with co-workers on a job site if he's watching things made for pre-schoolers? I obviously can't tell her to not let him watch that stuff, but he's not allowed to talk about the Wiggles in my classroom.
I know I'm late to the party but I have one this week. I think the "body sculpting" wrap things are the dumbest things ever. Of course you will be temporarily slimmer after wearing them you just wrapped yourself in plastic wrap and proceeded to sweat all the water from that particular area of your body. That's why it comes back so fast.
I also can't help but eye roll any miracle thing that will make you loose weight without actually doing anything. Like diet sprinkles for your French fries, or those electric shock things for your abs. None of that can work and be good for you at the same time.

I kept thinking I had one but forgot - and that was it!!! One of my FB friends sells them and talks about how great they are with before/after pics and then goes on to say that she takes the company's pills too. My favorite commericials are "I lost 50lbs without changing my diet or exercising" ... yeah, okay.
I like pinterest ">
I pin dinner recipes. Real ones with vegetables though, not a can of cream of mushroom soup, a block of cream cheese and a stick of butter in the crockpot "omg, to die for cheeseburger out" ones. It helps keep me organized! I can never remember what I have ever in my life cooked for dinner before, so ever single week I need to browse recipes for ideAs.
My very unpopular opinion on the whole Kosovo, Iraq/Afghanistan and now Syria ordeal.
I could see making a judgment about whether or not our involvement would be prudent, IF we had all the details. The truth is, most Americans gather their details and skewed opinions from their favorite news network.
Even if you truly care and, with due diligence, dig into the real facts and issues, you are only going to find out what facts and details our Department of Defense has allowed to be released to the public. In most cases, it is a good thing that all the details are not released to the public. National security, kind of a big deal.
Protecting the country is not my specialty. I can give a great enema and perform adequate chest compressions. That's what I'm good at. Some even say, I can make a mean salsa.......... long after I remove my gloves and wash my hands. And shower.
My point is, I have such an effing hard time when folks who don't take the time to look up the facts, and then further base their opinion of whether or not we should be or should've been involved in a war or confrontation with a country by just watching the news or reading the paper.
(Please do not think this is directed at any of you. I don't know your research)
As for me I have to believe that my country and the people we have elected into these positions will make sound decisions based on the hard core facts presented to them.
I believe in our government and the processes we put in place that allow it to function.
There are at least 10 people on my FB friends list that sell either Scentsy or ThirtyOne. Why would you want to sell something that EVERYONE else is selling at the SAME exact price that you are? Sorry if you are one of those people, but it annoys the crap outta me.

I always order light cheese on my pizza.

Nope but, I don't have all the facts either.
They do.
