Low Pains

The past 3 nights I've been woken up by and experiencing pain very low...about the start of my hairline and it's right in the middle. It feels kind of like a period pain but yet slightly different. Maybe like being stabbed by a knife constantly. It happens during the day but it doesn't last nearly as long and isn't as intense or often. This morning the pain ended up on my right lower belly almost where I think a baby is. As a FTM I'm worried! I'm 15 1/2 weeks with twins. Is this something normal or do I have a valid concern?

Sounds a lot like round ligiment pains especially of your a FTM. I had those with my son not as bad with the twins though. It's the muscle wall pulling and stretching out. If it gets unbearable or accompanied by pressure in your bottom it wouldn't hurt to call the nurse line that's what they are there for try a heating pad and laying down for a bit if it pass with that you should be ok

It sounds like round ligament pains, which are nothing to worry about.  But if they continue or begin to last even longer, give your doctor a call.  That's what she's there for.  Hope you feel better!

I had rlp pains and they felt different and were in a different place then this pain. I did call in and am on my way to out patient radiology to be snuck in for an ultrasound.

Just got done with ultrasounds...babies seem to be fine. Both were moving and had heartbeats. They checked my appendix, ovary, etc and we will get that report in an hour

Nurse just called...they didn't find any growths, abnormalities, and from the little bit they could see the appendix looked okay but they can't fully rule it out. Still no answers as to why the pain.
