Hi,

Any MoMs live in Jacksonville or have any information/experience?
We are contemplating a transfer there. We'll have 3 kids under 2.

I live there now. We moved a year ago because my husband works for the government and was assigned here. I moved from Raleigh, NC & he moved from the DC area. It's ok but I won't be sad to move in another year or two. For a city this size, I've been very disappointed with the lack of decent stores and the general condition of the city. On the positive side, real estate is very cheap compared to what we were used to. We would have easily had to pay $100k more for what we live in if it was in Raleigh. And the beach is 15 minutes away. The Duval county school system I believe is ranked the worst in the state.
