AW: Unexpected U/S results

So last week was a really early ultrasound at 5w6d, they found the one HB and showed me where the other embryo had initially implanted and then stopped growing.  Fast forward to this morning...he found 2 heartbeats!  Both are appropriate size and look great, my RE said it was so early last week that the second one must've just been hiding.  Holy crap we are having TWINS!  I think this technically puts me in April, but I think Ill stick around with you ladies if you dont mind :)

BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
BFP #3: 8/27/13
Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
+ HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    IVF #1 (May 2013):  Antagonist Protocol: 
    24R, 18M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 2 early blasts, no frosties = BFN
     IVF #2 (August 2013):  Lupron Stop Protocol: 
    28R, 23M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 1 partially hatched blast, 7 frosties = BFP
    EDD 5/23/14, blighted ovum (6w6d), D&C (8w6d)
    FET #1 (April 2014):  transferred 2 5d blasts = BFP

    OMG!!!  Amazing news!!  Congrats!!

     

    ETA:  So do they think it was triplets (1 heartbeat, 1 that stopped growing and 1 hidding)?  Or was the 1 that they thought stopped growing actually the twin?

    I'm in the same boat with prob ending up in April, but I agree our symptoms and growth will be with may mommies, don't forget there is also the multiples board for any questions you have

    Oh for sure!  I can only imagine!  haha

    I'm just curious because I had an u/s at 3w6d (due to spotting/rule out ectopic) and they saw 2 "cystic" regions in my uterus.  They said it was too early to tell if they were cysts or babies.  I go back next Tuesday 5w6d for a f/u.  It can't come fast enough!
