Need hair pats and coddles

For every 10 jobs I apply for, H is getting a call or text about a job. He isn't currently looking. He has an interview next week with another company that offered him a position last week. It is more of where he wants to go with his career. I am trying to be supportive. I jokingly told him today to not tell me about any more offers or mentions of openings. It isn't his fault. They are coming to him. I am still very bitter.
