I found out Monday that I have this. I had been itching really bad on the palms of my hands & bottom of my feet. Mention this to my dr and they did some blood work. I also found out my liver enzymes are very elevated. Which they think is all related. There wasn't anything I could do to prevent this from happening. But it worries me bc cholestasis is bad for the baby the further along you become. So they are going to induce me at 37 weeks if her lungs are fully developed. On a happy note, baby girl is doing great. She is in the 48th percentile for her weight and I am having weekly non-stress tests and she is doing great with those as well. Feel for you! Is this yr 1st? My 2nd time with cholestasis, blood test confirmed 3 days ago, 29wks in 2 days. It's just as bad 2nd time round, driving me nuts. My 1st I was induced at 37wks, and all was fine after delivery. But this time I have a almost 3 year old and is extremely tiring with her tantrums/energy and my lack of sleep from itching. I cried today as I was so tired. Keep yourself as cold as possible, it really helps reduce the itching. I'm sitting on my sofa now just wearing bra and shorts! x
