Air Bubble in Today's Injection Shot ... Help I Might Explode ;)

Just gave myself my very first microdose lupron shot. I forgot to push the needle till it squirts drop of meds before injecting it and I'm pretty sure there was a large air buble at the top.  It's too late now, but is that ok and has anyone done the same?

I'm freaking out a bit as I hate to give myself the shots and right now I'm home alone doing it as DH is at work.  I have visions of the air bubble exploding in my body, lol.  Now granted I'm sure those are ridiculous thoughts to have, but the mind can play such tricks when nerved up.

Anyone with any eperience and words of wisdom out there that can help calm me???

Me: 44 - Hashimoto's (under control), DH: 38 - (minor issues)

IUIs: 2 in 2012 ... Both BFN
IVF #1: 10/16/13 ... BFP, however it was not viable and ended in an early loss at 7weeks.
IVF #2: Feb '14 ... Cancelled. Positive beta at baseline appt, became very early loss.
IVF #2: Apr '14 ... Retrieval Only. 2 embryos made it to day 3 freeze & will be batched with IVF #3 for PGD testing.
IVF #3: June '14 ... Retrieval Only. 4 embryos growing, all arrested before day 5. Two from April thawed, but also arrested.
Currently benched while determining how to proceed.

    you should be fine... it was in muscle or fat right?

    Me:36 DH:38 TTC#1 since 4/2012
    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    It was a subcutaneous shot. I Googled it and found that it really is no big deal. The air will disipate on its own.  I'm just a nervouse IVFer, LOL :)

    I understand completely... I always think I screwed up my injections in some way.

    I understand! I asked at the injections class what would happen if I forgot that step and they were like..."absolutely nothing." I had visions of it creating a huge issue! I guess they wouldn't give non medical people the ability to inject ourselves if errors were life threatening. Good luck! My first injections were microdose Lupron too. They said "you'll love those" because the menopur stings but honestly I never had stinging once. I started icing but by the end I didn't bother. And the intramuscular I was terrified of. I had a nurse come and do it and it ended up being no big deal.
    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    You will be fine. Do not worry. The big concern with an air bubble is when you go IV. In the vein and you are not going to be doing that. You can relax. :)

    Thank you everyone!  Turns out a few days later and I am fine, lol. Tonight I start my stims along with continuing the mirodose lupron. I'll be doing Follistim 450, Menopur 150 and Microdose Lupron.

    Here's to hoping the Menopur doesn't sting like everyone says. Fingers crossed :)
