Progesterone pills success stories?

Any ladies here have success using progesterone pills? Did you use them orally or vaginally? My dr said it doesn't matter but I think it does. Any thoughts?

I've used progesterone, specifically prometrium, in  my last two successful pregnancies.  I was on a pretty high dose.  400 in the morning and at night, so 800 daily.  I used it vaginally as that is what my doctor recommended and from what I have read, taking it orally is not as effective.

I was also on Prometrium, but I took it orally and just once a day.  It made me really dizzy so I took it at night before I was about to fall asleep and then had no issues with it.

I did this but I don't remember the dose.I've done vaginally and orally with both successful pregnancies as well. I don't really remember any side effects.

My RE gives me progesterone for my injects cycles, but not the Clomid cycles, even though my levels were always fine. I think it's just his standard for injects and I'm sure IVF too. I use the vaginal suppositories. I'm not sure that they are the reason for my success last time, but I use them because my doctor recommends it.

I never had success with a progesterone only cycle, but used Prometrium, Endometrin, and PIO between my IUIs and IVF cycles. I never took Prometrium orally, but have a friend who said it made the symptoms a little worse than vaginal use. GL!

I used endometrin for my IVF cycle. I inserted 1 capsule vaginally twice a day for the first 12 weeks. My RE joked that I had a butt-less IVF cycle. GL to you!
