2-yr-old stopping naps?

Lately my son has been taking naps off and on. He's such a mover that I think it's too early and he's too young to stop naps. He does go to bed earlier which is nice but I don't know. Anyone else?

DD who is just about your son's age skipped nap 4 straight days last week. I figured it was the end of an era. She has been on and off on an every other day schedule since Saturday. DS stopped napping at about 2.5 which was right before DD was born (super convenient!!)

DH completely dropped naps at 18 months, so we've considered ourselves very lucky. He missed about one day a week.

My son dropped them for about 3 months right after he turned 2. I was consistent about putting him down every day at the same time for quiet time and he eventually started napping again. Then again, it's not entirely unheard of for a 2 year old to drop naps completely.

Both of my girls went through a phase around the time they turned 2 where they were refusing naps. It resolved on it's own and they went back to napping. DD1 is now 3.5 and naps maybe 1-2 times a week, the rest of the days she has quiet time with books, puzzles, etc.
