Saw this and thought it was interesting, just thought I would share. I have never used this car seat so I don't know first hand, I have only ever used Diono car seats and still have my 2 1/2 year old rear facing.
I had a passing thought about getting this car seat when we moved DD out of her infant carseat becasue it was marketed as an "all in one". I liked the idea that I didn't have to get a booster down the road. After talking to a friend who had the Eddie Bower version, I changed my mind. She told me all the problems she had with it. Actually she found she didn't like any of the all-in-ones because when you convert to a booster, the kids would want to buckle themselves, but because the seat sits so high the kids couldn't reach the buckels. She then got the Graco booster and the kids could buckle themselves in.

Reproductive Endocrinologist diagnosed us "Unexplained Infertility".
After 3 years . . . 3 IUIs . . . and 3 IVFs . . . our miracle GIRL arrived on August 6, 2012.
Baby Girl # 2 TTC Since June 2013 Got pregnant on our own without Fertility Treatments - January 2016! Thank you snow storm Jonas! EDD 10/15/16 At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid. Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth. If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP. My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!
So, if you read the review, it basically says that the seat doesn't fit well at the extreme ends of the advertised range. And the recall is for labeling. What matters most is that your kids fits well in a seat that is installed properly in your car. So, since LO is not a teeny tiny anymore nor in kindergarden, you're probably okay. Just double check everything to make sure the fit and installation are good, and LO is perfectly safe.

I agree with this!
