Clearblue positive yesterday, negative today

Hi ladies,

I have used several different brands of pregnancy tests and the results are confusing...At first, I got one at Walgreens, it was a blue die and very difficult to read, but I saw a VERY faint line. I went and bought a first response after that and got a faint line, but it was more clear then the Walgreens brand. The next day I got a Clearblue because I wanted to see "pregnant". It said "pregnant" and I was thrilled. I bought a box of 2, so I decided to take the clearblue again today to be sure...it now says "not pregnant". Can this happen and be a false negative? I took another first response a few hours later today and it still had a faint, but visible line. Should the lines be getting darker? It is still very early, and I am due to get my period tomorrow. Any feedback is appreciated!

Your pee could have been to diluted to register on the second digital.

Well, I believe false negative is a lot more common than a false positive.  I don't think there is much you can do but wait until tomorrow morning, or better yet, give it a couple days, and test again.  It seems like the odds are in your favor though!

That happened to me with my first pregnancy, positive digital at 10dpo and negative at 11dpo. It freaked me out too, but I think it was just so early. Everything was fine. My regular tests always take a little while to get darker. Good luck!

Digitals aren't as sensitive as regular tests and can be unreliable early on. You can actually crack one open and look for a line.

You're pregnant, relax.  Call your OB and see if they do betas.  Those numbers should help you feel better.  In the meantime, stop peeing on sticks!

It looks like you're pretty pregnant to me:) sometimes you can just get a false negative especially if you're not that far along! I agree with ABColeslaw and I would go get a beta done:) that should help calm your nerves!

I took an EPT test and saw an extremely faint line, I took the digital test right away and it said not pregnant. I assumed my eyes were just seeing what they wanted to see on the EPT. My period was late and I took a test on my Birthday the EPT lines were slightly darker, but there. Good luck!

Your pregnant!! That's very early to depend on digital tests.... If you want to really hear the music in words, go to planned parenthood and pay 25.00$.... It will give you the words your asking for!!.. Not that you need any!! Even a dollar store line test would give you accurate results tomorrow morning!!

I heard the digital tests aren't as sensitive so you'd need a higher amount of pregnancy hormone for it to show positive. Give it time and I'm sure it'll come around

First Response Early Result is the best. I got my BFP on a Monday and my period wasn't due until Thursday or Friday!!!
