DS is almost 9 months, and has done pretty well with finger foods. He's had and done well with ham, chicken, potatoes, gram crackers, soft stuff mostly. but i've given him carrots, peas, beans, watermelon, bananas etc and he just has no interested in it. He just moves his head side to side, spits it out, or just refuses. I've thought maybe he's just not ready for finger foods, but if i'm eating he'll grab right for whatever it is that i'm eating or try and get some of whatever it is. it's almost like he likes the soft stuff just isn't ready for the harder stuff. he has two teeth if that means anything. he eats 8oz of purees, 4 oz of oatmeal, 4 oz of yogurt and 24 oz of formula within a day. So his food intake isn't decreasing with the finger foods, we just are doing it to introduce him to it. we've been doing this for about a month and still no difference. Wondering if any of ya'll had a similar experience!
