DS is named after my grandfather (actually my step-grandfather, but the one I knew growing up, since my mom's father died when she was a a teen).
We're debating names right now, and one of the girl's names I keep thinking about is Margaret, with Maggie or Margo as a nickname. It's also the name of my grandmother.
Here's the "would this be weird part"... Margaret my grandmother was married to the grandpa DS is named for. My grandfather passed away when I was in fifth grade, so no messy divorce feelings.
But would it be strange to consider the name Margaret for a daughter, when the Margaret she'd be named for was married to the man DS was named for? (Does that question even make sense?)

First, Margaret is one of my most favorite names ever. It was one of the names we brought to the hosp for DD, and if we ever have another DD, it is in the top 3.
I only think it would be weird if the name was an unusual one. Margaret, though not super popular right now, has been in frequent use for many years. Esp sice there was weird falling out, I can't imagine that anyone would even think you were naming after the other Margaret.

DS1 is named after DH's grandpa and DS2 shares a name with my great-grandfather (though not really on purpose, we just loved the name).
Boy's names are harder. A lot of boy's names I like start with a hard C, which sounds bad with our last name. Samuel, Nicholas, Zachary, and Maxwell are all choices, but I'm not in love with any yet. I was fairly meh on DS's name until 30 weeks though. I love so many girl's names and need boy's names to grow on me. I'm not sure why.
