Baby Vicks?

Anyone use it? Where did you put it? Did it work?
E has a really bad cough again (and a WICKED diaper rash, poor thing is having a rough week!) Anyhow, we've been doing the humidifier, and clearing what few boogs she has. No fever, no other signs of illness. So were hoping some baby Vicks can get us some sleep.
Thanks for sharing your experiences.

IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
beta #2 11/28 = 2055
Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    I don't know about babies but I have heard if you put it on their feet with socks it takes away the cough. I know a lot of people who swear by it, but I don't know if it is recommended for babies. I hope E feels better quickly.

    We used it all last winter on DS. We just rubbed it onto his chest after his bath. Johnson and Joh.nson has a great vapor baby bath wash that we would use also. Hope she's feeling better soon. ETA: I don't know if it *worked*, but I'm sure it cleared something out.


    After 4 years, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs our surprise miracle is here!

    On the feet under socks is what we do. Just make sure it's the Baby Vicks because it doesn't have menthol, which is not good for the little ones.

    Vicks is good also if you can try standing in a HOT shower with her, and feed her so she breaths through her nose and breaths in the steam, helps us a lot!

    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    No words of advice here, sorry E is feeling bad. It sounds like you have some good advice above, I hope she feels better soon.

    I swear by the Baby Vicks (on the feet with socks, and on the chest), J&J bath for colds, and humidifier combo. Hope E feels better soon!

    Well, she slept better last night. Some coughing and some fussing, but no hour long coughing fits, so that's an improvement!
