My fasting numbers were always too high and I tried different types of bedtime snacks, my Dr put me on glyburide to control my numbers. It worked! I just feel extra tired since going on the meds. I'm on 2.5mg and 34 weeks. Is anyone else feeling this way or is it bc I'm 34 weeks? I have an appointment on Thursday so I'll ask my Dr then, I'm just curious about your experience! Thanks in advance!
Re: GD & glyburide
Not to scare you, I have only had it happen a couple times! So don't forget to eat all of your carbs and if you exercise late at night ask your doctor if you should have extra carbs.
All in all, totally worth it!

I had this happen too. Make sure you talk to your dr about it. I started my medicine over the weekend and had it happen Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday I called the dr on call and she told me to skip my dinner pill that night. I had a dr appt on Monday and she told me that any time I have a low number, I should call because they really don't want it getting too low. There's some adjustment involved and they will tinker with the dosage until they get it right, but it seems to be working. Maybe just a little too well.
ETA: To answer OP's question, I don't feel any more tired than normal and I'm 29 weeks. I would definitely mention it to your doctor, but it could just be that you are at 34 weeks.
