I take photos of DS on my iphone because they come out less blurry that way, as opposed to my canon point & shoot camera. However, the trueness of his blue eyes never show up

any tricks on how to make his eye color stand out? There is an option on my camera for "kids and pets" -- i think it's supposed to make photos not blurry. Maybe I need to test it out.
