I'm just wondering if she's okay or still stuck at work.

We're about 20 minutes away and DH is at another installation in the DC area today for training. And even though we're not in any immediate danger, I'm feeling a little freaked out with the idea that there may still be 2 suspects out there. DH keeps texting me to let me know he's okay and what they're hearing -- which isn't much.

How are my other DC area bumpies holding up?

It sounded like she was working down near the Navy Yard in SE DC where a mass shooting occurred this morning. One shooter was killed but they're reporting that 2 more may be on the loose.

So sad for all the lives lost but glad you're okay. Having been in Boston for the shelter in place, I know how terrifying it is. Hope they catch the other suspect soon or receive info to confirm that the dead gunman acted alone.
