Teething-all at once?

My LO will be 6 months next week and is teething horribly. The two bottom middle have broken through, and the top 4 middle are about to. Today I can feel his top middle 4, but they aren't all the way through yet. He seems so miserable, but I guess that's because he's getting 6 teeth in at once. Had anyone else's LO done this? We've tried all different types of teethers, frozen washcloths and frozen fruit, but nothing seems to really help except for Tylenol, but it's so hard to get him to take it.
I've ordered teething tablets, and they should be here today.

Any comments/advice would be greatly appreciated!

wow!  that sounds awful  DD has been a teething mess for almost a month yet but I have yet to see any teeth break through.  I got her an Amber necklace a couple weeks ago and I think it helps.  I wasn't really convinced at first, but the other day I forgot to put it on her in the morning and my mom she had a pretty fussy day.  That evening she would not stop crying after I got home with her,  I realized she didn't have the necklace on so I put it on her, and I swear not 10 minutes later she was happy as a clam.  could have been a coincidence I know, but I am pretty much afraid to take the thing off of her now :P

Same here! His bottom two broke through and he is still very miserable. His head is hot, he is very fussy, watery poop and itching his upper gums like crazy. I hope 4 come out at once because I feel like he has been teething for weeks now.

DD had the bottom 2 come in at the same time at 4 months and was miserable for a few weeks. Haven't seen/felt any others for the past few weeks and she seems ok. Constantly chewing on her blankets though. Have you tried a really cold carrot? My mom gave one (the thick end) to DD to chew on when we were in the height of teething and she loved it. Good luck!
