I am only 4 weeks 1 day with this LO, but I was horribly sick for a good 2 months with my 1st (vomiting upwards of 6 times a day, EVERYDAY!! and constantly nauseous). My fingers are crossed that I'll miss that symptom with #2! I found sea bands to be extremely helpful..calmed the constant nausea moreso than helping the vomiting. They can be found in a pharmacy by the anti-nausea and motion sickness meds. Also, seltzer, ice chips, and tostitos were about the only things I could keep down.
Coke or ginger ale and crackers are the only things that help me at this point. And ditto to the small meals/snacks throughout the day. The second I let myself get hungry, all bets are off.
Take 100 mg of b6 and a unisom (the tablets not the gelcaps) before you go to bed. Other than Zofran, it is IMO the best remedy out there.
Also, sea bands or psi bands. I'm not sure how it is spelled, but they are these things that you put on your wrists.
I also took Zofran, but it was one of those things where I felt like the cure was almost worse than the problem because it caused such bad constipation.
If I end up nauseated like I did last time, I'm going to try accu. So far I am okay...but last time it didn't start until 6-8 weeks post ovulation so I'm not out of the woods yet.

I used Unisom over the weekend, it's very effective for me. The pharmacist also recommended ginger tablets. I do 2x daily. After last weeks not eating, barfing, dry heaving fiasco... I can now function. It's not all the way gone but I felt so relieved.
Last week my nausea was bad (much better this week thankfully) and I lived on ginger ale. I have a juicer so I juiced a bunch of ginger and mixed it in with maple syrup and soda water. It was brilliant! For some variation I mixed in some unsweetened iced tea I had on hand as well. Plain soda water helps too. My DH laughs at the array of drinks I bring with me to work now, but it's what gets me through!
My first pregnancy had extreme bloating but never any nausea. With this pregnancy, Im nauseated ALL of the time! Any ideas how to get over this?
I'm the exact same. I never had any nausea with my first pregnancy. Now it is all day. The only time I'm not nauseous is when I'm sleeping. I've been sucking on mints and ginger ale...not sure how much this is really helping though. haha. I'm looking for a miracle.
I've tried everything-- it finally got to the point where I couldn't keep water down- my first appointment isn't until the 24th, but I called this morning, and she called in Zofran- 3 hours an 5 dollars later, I feel a million times better!
