Your favorite front baby carrier?

I have been using a balboa baby ring sling and have loved it, but now that LO has passed the 15 lb mark its starting to kill my back. I was looking at the infantino Ecosash mostly for the price. I live in south florida so I really need one that doesn't get too hot also. What's your fave?

Boba! For cost friendly, look at the Infantino Mei Tai.

Ergo would be really warm. A Mei Tai is little less fabric, might be better. If your up for the challenge a lot of people around here swear by woven wraps for warm climate.

I live in south fl, my ds is 15lbs as well. I have the ergo performance, it breathes really well and so far I have no complaints. I chose it over the original ergo due to the heat here and wanting to be able to use it at the zoo, Disney and other outdoor places.

I live in a humid climate & all I see are ergos

I would go with a mei tai. I agree with pp that it's less fabric. They're pretty easy to use, and the infantino brand is really affordable!

Once DD got to that size I switched from the K'tan to the Ergo Performance. I used it in Disney in July and it wasn't too bad temperature-wise, it's always going to be warm having your baby snuggled against you like that. But for comfort, I definitely love it and use it all the time.

ErgoBaby! I love it! I like that most of the weigh is supported on my hips rather than my shoulders. And the way DD sits reduces the risk for hip issues that are more common in outward facing carriers and carriers where the baby's legs dangle (similar styles to the bjorn)

Just an fyi, you can get ergo for $70-$80 at tj maxx and marshall's.

I made a mei tai for about $25 using various online tutorials. I love it way more than my Moby or Bjorn.

I love my Ergo!  I haven't tried any other carrier (besides a woven wrap, which I also love, but is a bit more fiddly, the Ergo is just snap and go) - but I would definitely recommend it.  We got the performance/sport model, as we live in the South and it's much more breathable/cool than the traditional, or so it says.

I love my Ergo and now since LO is getting bigger he loves the hip carry in the Ergo. 

My DH does not like the Ergo though, DH has wider hips, and a bit of a beer belly  and LO's legs spread really far when he wears it making both uncomfortable.
