Cold Weather Strolls

I just ordered this stroller blanket in the Radiant Heart pattern. https://www.amazon.com/Bumkins-Waterproof-Stroller-Blanket-Butterfly/dp/B0084CDKTY I wanted a blanket that would tie on the stroller and repel rain since it is beginning to get cold here in the Chicagoland area. I couldn't believe how expensive these types of blankets could be! I hope this less expensive option covers my needs. How do you plan on keeping LO warm when you take walks to festivals, parks, etc.? Any recommendations? We also need a water resistant picnic blanket... Thoughts?

Re: Cold Weather Strolls

  • I have the RoSK Woobee Plush blanket which is really soft/warm on the inside and waterproof on the outside. It also has ties so you can easily attach it to the car seat, stroller, or wrap. It retails for $58 but I got mine off www.babysteals.com for half off. I'd watch babysteals because they frequently have blankets or other items for use with strollers/car seats for a big discount.

  • Update: my Bumkins stroller blanket arrived and it is awesome! I tried it out on our City Mini Gt and the velcro closers on top and bottom fit perfectly. I like that it will be secure down on DD's feet so it doesn't blow around. Totally worth the $20. I am sure if they made more patterns they would be able to sell more. The one I got above is very stylish, but the pink one they offer looks "cheap" to me.
