it's another. We were set to try table foods with H this weekend, have my parents visit, and go on a mid-afternoon date. Thursday night, as I was getting ready for bed right before DH got home, I hear H crying in his crib, went to check on him, and he had massively spit up all over the sheet/blanket/himself. It was in his little eyes, coming out of his nose, in his ear, just everywhere. DH came home and we got H cleaned up and not even 10 minutes after a bath, H starts throwing up. I'm talking red body/face, full on heaving like an adult throwing up and it was all stomach acid as far as I can guess, it had no substance, no formula or pears he had eaten. He slept like normal that night and did fine all day Friday (thank goodness I was already off for doctor's appointments for H), he just didn't eat much. Friday night, he starts it up again.

Saturday my parents still came and we still went on a movie date, first date of any sort since H was born, and H did pretty well. Ate very small amounts, more pedialyte than formula but still got something in his stomach without throwing up. Last night DH didn't pay attention and fed H three ounces without stopping to settle in between and of course H immediately throws that up. He's been great today though, eating 5 ounces at a time and not so much as a spit up so far.

Every single time I want to do something new with H lately, he gets sick. Two other kids from daycare came down with the same thing so I guess it's going around. He had something similar to this about a month ago, just not quite as bad, and of course his cold 3 weeks ago. Maybe we can do all of these new things next weekend.

Hope the heaving is behind him. Glad you were still able to get out with YH. You are right. There is always next weekend.

Bless his heart! That sounds awful. Poor H! I hope he's feeling much better and that you and YH don't get it!

Poor little guy! I hope he's all better and you can try again next weekend. At least you got your date in, I hope it was fun.

We made it all day without an issue, he was eating normally, then DH got home from helping a friend out all day and fed H a normal bottle without checking with me on the last time he had eaten. He definitely threw some of that up.

Our movie date was fun, we saw We're the Millers (our last name) and it was funny. Not the type of movie I'd normally see but we had fun.

Do attachment issues start this early? I thought it was closer to 9 months but today H has been wanting me right next to him and its not because he's sick, he hasn't been like this all weekend.

And now I have whatever this stomach thing is. I really hope this is not going around everywhere, it's not fun at all.

Small bright side, I get to keep up with y'all tomorrow.

We saw that movie for our date too! I thought it was hilarious. So sorry you are sick now, that is no fun. Feel better.
