I got a bunch of kale from work (we are a CSA pick up site and sometimes get random leftovers). I have never made kale (but I have made collard greens). Any good recipes?
I toss it in some olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and sometimes a spice or two, and I throw it in the oven for a few minutes to make kale chips.

Fry up a few pieces of bacon. Remove bacon and cut up into bite size pieces. Drain most of the grease from pan. Saute kale in pan, add bacon pieces and drizzle with honey. Its amazing
I have kale taking over a corner of my garden. Besides kale chips, I also like to make a kidney bean and kale soup. Sauté onions and kale. Add chicken broth, kidney beans, season to taste.
I toss it in pasta a lot. I break it up small, put it in my colander and drain the noodles over it. That wilts it enough that it goes back in the pot with anything- veggies, sausage, red sauce, olive oil, etc. It's delicious and healthy.
Or I just sauté with garlic, onion, any other veggies, then toss with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. I can eat the whole pan.

thats not even fair. I can take sundried dogshit and cook it in bacon grease and it would pass muster. but seriously that does sound good
Well it's still healthy because you're still eating kale, right? At least that's what I tell myself .
Re: I need a Kale recipe
I love that this is such a different way to use up kale.
