The WORST children's TV show

DD found "Wonder pets". I really think I lost brain cells watching it. I hope she doesn't ask for it again. DD watches 1 to 1.5 hours of TV per day. we limit what she watches. She saw this show on Amazon prime and asked to watch it so we gave it a try. 

What do you think it the worst show?

I kinda liked Wonder Pets when DD1 was leetle.  Ming-Ming needs an attitude adjustment, tho.

The worst for me?  Caillou, easily.

I like Sofia. The lessons are always very clear. They also have nice songs.

Also how is Sofia like mean girls? Yes amber can be a brat but she usually learns her lesson! Lol I can't believe I just stuck up for a kids show!

Aww, DS loves him, but there is something about him that irks me a bit.  At this point, anything is better than Spongebob.  Yuck.

In general, I hate any kids show with a character who is selfish, whiny, bossy, etc. and usually not corrected for it.  I get that kid shows are supposed to be relatable for kids and help them work through it.  But a lot of the time these characters are being pandered to rather than being corrected, or not corrected at all.

Max and Ruby for instance.  Ruby is bossy and controlling and likes to exclude Max.  The only reason Max ever wins out in the end is because he doesn't fucking listen, like, ever.

Teletubbies. It was on when DD was little, but I haven't seen it in years, thank goodness.

The only one we have watched that I don't like is Max and Ruby. I can't stand her voice all whiny like and then she is just mean to her little brother all the time.

We watch bubble guppies, Dora, peter rabbit, team umizoomi, spongebob, fairly odd parents, tom and jerry and tiny toons. Not all at once but those are the ones I will put on. I do not have the spongebob hate but my brother watched it all the time. Oh and we watch Futurama

I actually love Wonder Pets! The music is fantastic - they actually have their own orchestra to record original music for the show, and I love that they incorporate "real" classical melodies. I also appreciate the message about teamwork. Yo Gabba Gabba is one where I feel like I've lost brain cells... I also would rate anything on Cartoon Network, like My Little Ponies or Ninja Turtles type shows, as high on the "worst" list. I don't mind my kids watching almost anything on Nick Jr. or Disney Jr. because of the "educational" nature.

+2. I also think it shares a great positive message about step-parents and blended families to counteract the typical "evil stepmother" message in princess fairytales.

I think Yo Gabba Gabba is just fucking strange. I also am not a fan of Sophia the First. Whoever said its like Mean Girls for kids was spot on.

Also, Gaspar and Lisa. That show is straight up boring and Gaspar can be a whiney a little bitch at times.

it is on cbs saturday morning, and I agree, it is totally awful. I also agree about lalaloopsy land, it is just really dumb. I actually really like both yo gabba gabba and the wonder pets - I think it is the music.

I don't like any kids show with british accents. For some reason little kid british voice drives me nuts.
That whatever town heroes show is lame.
I haven't seen Caillou yet!

I know it's a UO, but IMO Yo Gabba Gabba is the worst. I can't watch more than 30 seconds of it. I can watch Caillou and Barney, but I can not watch YGG. Thankfully, Nora hasn't asked for it.

Caillou is the most annoying toddler ever.

Tchoupi & Doudou is the reason why kids misbehave. That brat never learns anything never listens to his parents yet is never grounded or punished. And he does really stupid stuff too.

Dora is banned from our house. Forever. Handy Manny is better...

It's not completely terrible, but boy does Bedtime for Frances get old after once a day for four months.  GAH.

Also, I like Postman Pat, but seriously, everyone on that show is a moron.  Pat is completely incompetent.  He's the town's only mailman, but he apparently sucks at it.  Can't one day go by where Pat delivers everyone's mail on time and without incident?  And WHY does everyone in town wait until the last minute to order packages that they HAVE to have by a certain time today or something bad will happen?  Plan ahead people, JFC.
