I have a weird question, possibly TMI

I have neon yellow urine.  This has never happened to me before, but I am taking a very comprehensive prenatal.  I'm wondering if it could be an excess of one the the vitamins.  Has this happened to anyone else?  I wanted to check  before I Dr. Google.  I have FNH on my liver, so Dr. Google may scare the life out of me.

I'm pretty sure it is excess folic acid.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

H gets this from his multi vitamin too. I'm pretty sure it's excess, but I don't remember if its tied to a specific vitamin.

This. Mine is neon yellow too, right after I take my pills every morning. 

Thank you ladies, this is good to know.  I was going to be bullshit if I had decreased liver functioning this early in pregnancy.

Mine is neon yellow too, but it was also neon yellow when I started taking regular vitamins before I was pregnant so i'm not sure.

Okay from a quick glace it looks like it is extra B2 that your body doesn't need so it gets rid of it.

Correction:  Google is telling me vitamin B

Also, pee and it's color is so not TMI, as long as you don't post a picture of it

lol, I should take a picture of it.  I was just getting worried because when my liver functioning goes down, the first indication is weird colored pee...although it is usually rusty colored.

I called about this same issue. After they quizzed me I realized the neon color is strongest about 1-2 hours after taking my prenatal. They told me it was the vitamin and nothing to worry about.
You could see if the timing is similar for you.

Well if you are really concerned, I would ask your doctor. Just for the peace of mind. But my prenate mini (my vitamin) states that it may change the color of my urine and feces.

I found the above to have a very interesting list of urine color and causes. Bright yellow is as they state caused by vitamins. Liver issues oddly enough would be clear. But of course, since we are all drinking ALOT of water lately, do not be alarmed by clear urine either. My old standby, when in doubt ask your doc.

I take a B-complex (b-6 and b-12) 50 every morning with my prenatal (always have, even before I got pregnant since I am vegan).  Every time I pee until about noon I have neon yellow pee.  I just try to make sure to drink plenty of water and that helps.

As DH used to say after the RE loaded him up on vitamins, "I know I took my vitamin B, because I have highlighter pee" LOL

Google is not a healthy way to care for a pregnancy especially for the baby. Health concerns should be brought to a provider attention and it is a warning a good provider would give when covering the topic. If not seek the help of a better provider.

Cleary, I don't call my OB in the middle of the night do you?  I very clearly wrote in my OP that I was not going to Dr. Google.

I have fnh on my liver as well, do you have symptoms? They found mine incidentally during an ultrasound of my kidneys and it hasnt been growing. I have never had any trouble with it yet as far as I've noticed. I am taking preg vit folic 5, and I too have neon yellow urine often. I don't think it is anything to worry about

Yeah my FNH are painful and grow during pregnancy.  I actually had atypical HELLP syndrome with my son and after I delivered I went into liver failure.  My Heptologist actually changed my prenatal to just a regular vitamin and a sep folic acid.

Sometimes I forget whether I've taken my PNV for the day or not, so this is how I know too.

My PNV isn't giving me neon pee, but my regular vitamin did.

I got this when I started B vitamins while TTC.  It was always after I took the pills so I figured they were connected.
