For the first time in 4 months i did something for myself and got my hair done!! Let me just tell you that I feel amazing , fresh, alive again! Its so amazing how one little thing can change your whole attitude. I was honestly feeling pretty down and hated looking in the mirror because I felt like I just let myself go. I just didnt feel like it was necessary to cut into our budget for myself, but I sure am glad I did!! 

Is there anything that you have done for yourself that made you feel good and not like a zombie!?

I've been wanting to go get a haircut but haven't gotten to it yet. It was February the last time I had it cut. I also want a massage! I had one at about 35 weeks pregnant and it was lovely, but not as good or as comfortable as a non-prenatal massage.

Your post has convinced me to get my hair cut in the next week!

Do it !! The last time I had mine cut was around last November, inspired by morning sickness lol. It honestly felt refreshing, I actually want to take pictures of myself with LO now , instead of hiding behind a camera and capturing moments of just her or her and DH!

I am getting a pedicure at lunch on Monday. I have been desperate. Used to go every 3 weeks but with baby I never seem to make it happen... This Monday, work be dam$ned, I am taking a long lunch, riding my horse, and getting a pedicure. Maybe Wednesday I'll get a massage. Work did okay without me for 14 weeks, I don't want them to start thinking I'm actually a necessity again

I just went today to get a pedicure. It's my second time going since DS was born. Even though it hadn't been that long, I needed it bad. I don't know what's up with my feet lately, but my heels are so horribly dry and red. 

I touched up my highlights and got a trim when he was 5 weeks. I brought LO and my mom with me and I nursed him in the waxing room while my color was processing! My hair dresser is the best. I had another hair appointment scheduled mid August but I canceled because I may want to do something different with my hair. I never did reschedule because I haven't  decided what I want to do yet. I want something different but in reality I'm too lazy to style it anyway.

I bought all new make-up.  I figure everything I had must have gone bad by now (I haven't touched it in months).  I also picked up a cute fall dress and promised myself that I will wear it out on a date with DH. Tomorrow I will be going on a trail ride with my mare.  We haven't gone out since before Christmas, so I am super excited.

That trail ride sounds so peaceful!! I wish I had that type of opportunity!

Finally got eyebrows waxed and nails done and dd is with the inlaws. Had dinner with DH and we are drinking some margaritas. It feels awesome

If makeup goes bad after 3 or 6 months... I probably have a horrible disease. I am pretty sure I have some eyeliner in there from college. And I am not one of our 24 year old mamas.

I've gotten my hair done, and while I was on maternity leave I was getting a massage weekly and taking advantage of gym day care to work out for an hour a day.  Now that I am back to work, I schedule gym time into my day, and I get a massage every other week (I have great insurance that covers it...I pay $15/visit).  I've even let my son stay with the day care provider for a few hours on a Friday when I got off a little early so that I could sleep a little!!

You girls are making me miss my horse I just gave him away because my friend loved him and leased him while I was pregnant, and he had a lot of issues and is so happy with her!(I posted about it on here) I did however, decide today that I am hiring a housecleaning service....yay clean house no work!

My BFF had a get together at her house tonight. The in laws had the child and I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little hammered.

One of my besties had a party for the Mayweather fight. Even though I knew it was a kid friendly and there was going to be other friends there with babies I decided to leave DS home with my MIL. I'm so glad I did because we watched the fight outside on a projector movie screen and we live in Phoenix so its 99 degrees out here! I can actually have fun and a beer or two while the other parents are spending their time trying to cool their babies down, mines is home sleeping peacefully in his crib.

My hubby and I had a date night last night and got to have some drinks and eat dinner alone!!!! Today I will be spending with my friends at the stables for a baby horse shower!!! Will be nice to go up and ride with out my children so I can relax!!!

All these posts about horse back riding makes me really want a horse! To bad I live in the city and the closest thing I have to riding a horse is going for a horse and buggy ride through NYC. baa-hum-bug!

Yes, all of you talking about riding their horse makes me want to ride again! There is nothing more relaxing that going on a trail ride. Maybe there should be a horse thread!

I am planning to get a pedicure this week but I have said that for the past 2 months. I started back at Crossfit which is making me feel better. I go before DD and DH get up in the morning.
