Give me your cough remedies

My LO has a cold and a bad cough. No fever and he is in a good mood. What's the best solution to help him sleep tonight? For his nap he kept waking himself up coughing. Any ideas to help are appreciated!

How old?

Our pedi said we can give our kids a ml of cough drops once they are over a year old. Works well - I only do it when they are a mess though and only before nap and bedtime.

I put a couple yoga blocks under her mattress by her head. I find having her elevated helps!

Warm honey and lemon. 

If it's from PND, we usually do saline spray and a snot sucker. 

I'm glad he's being cool, though! Feel better little dude!

C has been sick like that for a couple of weeks now. Acts normal, no fever, just a shitty throat same as me.

Hylands has a cough med that is for 2 and up. Works really good.
