Potty training question

Hi ladies Lurker with a question. We potty trained DD a couple weeks ago and she's been really good, the problem now is she's hooked on the potty. She won't use the actual toilet. At DC they have little toilets and she's fine. We are pretty much confined to the house or bringing the potty every where we go which isn't always an option (zoo, restaurants). I've tried bribing, and the little seat that goes over the big toilet. Any other thoughts? Sorry if the format is weird - ipad bumping

Re: Potty training question

  • Can you try putting the top of the potty over the toilet seat?

Or have you tried a stool for under ER feet? It makes a big difference when their feet aren't dangling.

  • I'm just here to say how jealous I am. My two year old is all, "diapers for lyfe!"
  • I gave pay kids a few weeks after being fully trained to get "good at it" while using the little potty before moving to the big one. I agree with pp that the best thing to do is get the little seat the goes on top. We actually had a potty that eventually could be used as a seat cover, so that worked well. Take it slow
