NBR Colorado floods

My heart goes out to everyone in Colorado. I used to live there and still have friends in the flood zone. I know the devastation nature can incur having been flooded myself in Hurricane Sandy. My stomach is in knots watching the footage from Boulder and Lyons. Sending prayers.

It's so weird.
We're between Denver & Boulder and we're ok but friends and family aren't so lucky. The attached pic was taken by my friend, who is a flight for life medic, my brother's neighborhood is on the left. He's ok but they don't know about their place yet. I'm an engineer and we're thinking it's a 400-500 year event. So much water.

Glad you are okay. I hope your friends and family fare well, too. Sometimes the not knowing is the worst part. I fear the news is going to get much worse before it gets better out there. The after effects will unfortunately be felt for some time to come. So heartbreaking.

Yes, it's very sad. House just up from Lyons. 36 is washed out coming up the canyon as is 34. Trail ridge has snow but will hopefully open soon. 7 has been open for emergency travel but obviously you can't get I go Lyons. Very very sad.
