Intro, short cervix but long post

Hello. Thought I would come here and see what advice you were given. I'm going Thursday (21w3d) for a transvaginal check-up on my cervix. At my as (19w 3d) my cervix measured 2.5cm (transvaginal) but I believe closed, no funneling. The perintologist wasn't overly concerned yet, she said she wants to see it is over 2cm and still called it long. She did put me on pelvic rest and told me to sit at work as much as possible (as a 4th grade teacher that is a challenge but will do it for baby). My Obgyn seemed a little more concerned as am I. Unfortunately, I don't have any measurements from earlier to compare so Thursdays will really give insight to whether this is decreasing or not. My history is in my signature but I did have a d&c (cant change that so reason to worry if that is what caused the shorter cervix) in December due to an early loss plus lots of fertility treatments (not that those would cause this). My Obgyn says I'm getting to the point that a cerclage is in my future but needs to happen ASAP before 22weeks. But of course, comes with risks. I also have primary lymphedema, my right leg, toes to thigh, is completely swollen at all times, about 3x larger than my other leg and weighs an extra 10-15lbs, I wear a compression stocking and at a higher risk of blood clots. So bed rest, although may be necessary for my baby could put me at higher risks. I am on baby asprin now for mtfrh but may need a stronger blood thinner. So I guess I'm just sharing my story here and looking for advice you received from your doctors. Trying to just see what some different stories/situations are like. Thanks for letting me babble and vent!
