Update: Baby max on his way

I've had a fairly smooth pregnancy. Thought this little guy would be comfortable for a while inside. Tonight around 4pm dh and I went out to run errands. I kept feeling gassy and painful gas pains. Didn't think much of it. Walked around Costco. Picked up chipotle came home and ate and watched ray Donovan. Went to the bathroom and hmmm..... That looks like a mucus plug. Cramps started immediatly after. What!??

Took a shower thinking I would just go to bed and sleep it off and that it was nothing. My childbirth prep class is tomorrow, FTM, I am clueless. Cramps were like two minutes apart. Finally, We decided to get to the hospital, better safe then sorry. Still totally convinced I'm overreacting. 30 minute ride to the hospital, longest ride ever. Intensity strengthened so much in that time.

They checked me in at 10pm, sure enough I'm in labor, 3 cm dialates and contracting every 3 minutes. Contractions are killing. The get me to a room. Get my epi at 11:15 after my blood test results come back. Now it's 12:30, I'm 9 cm dialated. Yikes, can this go any faster!!??? They are letting me rest and will come back in an hour, and I'm to be ready to deliver.

Say a little prayer for us! Definitely taken off guard and in shock.

He's here! 6 lbs 11 oz, healthy and happy. 20 inches. 20 min of pushing. Delivered at 2:15am Mst. I'm in love!
