Nothing juicy, just need to tell someone.

I'm set to start a new job on November 1st.  I'm not telling my current employer until October 1st.  I just asked for the second week in October off because I fully intend to use my annual leave before I move jobs.  The part I feel most bad about is that my current supervisor is one of my closest friends and I usually tell her everything.

Thanks everyone.  It's not going to hurt her personally.  It's a state agency, so yeah.  It will affect her because they will hire someone new and she will have to train them.  She has trained a buttload of people in the last few years and she hates it!  I mostly feel bad on the friend level because I'm not telling her something I would normally tell a friend.  KWIM?

Just remember that its just business, its not personal.  Remove that from the equation.  It's the right move IMO
