I was going to go run errends and do some grocery shopping today and I was looking forward to it even, since you are working 12 hours today. However, since you took the car seat with you, it looks like baby cakes and I are staying home poop.

Ugh, that sucks!  Sorry @kmc84.  I like your idea from the weekend thread about meeting up with a friend to go for a walk.  Sounds fun!

My DH stays home w DD during the day and I've totally done almost the same thing to him. He doesn't drive, but I've gone to work with the stroller in the back of the car, leaving him with no way to take DD more than a couple blocks away from our house.

Sorry, I know it sucks.

Aw man, that is a bummer! Hopefully the weather is nice where you live so you can at least go on a walk somewhere?

Talk about putting a damper on your plans! That happened to us several times and I just went stir crazy. Hope you can find a way to get out and do something fun/productive like you were planning!

Oh that stinks.  We used to live in the city, and when we moved to the 'burbs, we had to live with my parents for a few weeks until our house was ready.  My parents live pretty much in the woods - the nearest playground is 1.5 miles, the library is a mile away, but there is a farm up the street.  One of the first days we were there, DH's car wouldn't start so he had to take mine to work.  That left us without any way to leave except the stroller.  We got all ready - I packed a lunch and we were going to walk to the playground with the double stroller when I realized that it had been in the back of my car.  I almost cried!  I did find a red wagon so we walked up to the farm and see the animals, but the socialization I was hoping for did not happen!!  Hope you find ways to entertain yourselves!

@imoverit nope, we live sorta in the middle of nowhere. His job is 40 minutes away.

It all is working out. One of my SIL's came over for a visit and I baked cupcakes for the birthday party tomorrow. I may not be able to frost them until A goes to bed. She's not having a great day I think she will get some bath time next!

The weather is not great either, so we will keep finding inside things to do.
