potty ring

in Toddlers: 24 Months+
My son wont pee in any potty unless there is a potty ring like we use at home. So I carry in my car his little green frog potty and he will pee outside by the car.
Any suggestions on getting him away from the pee ring?

    Will he stand? Ds1 has been potty trained for well over six months but he can't balance himself on a regular seat. We bought the two in one toilet seats for our house. When in public, dh and I take ds to the bathroom and I help hold him so he's not afraid he'll fall in. If he just has to pee, he will usually stand.
