Dear Ds2: can we please not start every morning with a tantrum? I know they sometimes only last just a few minutes but, ugh, what a way to start the day.

Splinters in my hand,

Get out of my hand!

I already went to the clinic and they could not take it out! Now I have to put hydrogen peroxide 3-4 times a day until it comes out. Not good.

And then the nurse asked if I had a tetanus shot. I can't remember when I got it. I might have to get it another day and pay for the shot later if it is more than 10 years.

You melt my heart! I showed you my bandage covering my splinter to show my "owie" to you. And you said "I put a band aid on Mommy."

  I have loved you from the moment I knew I was having you.  You are an amazing, kind, wonderful, silly, miracle and I am thankful for you every day.  I can't wait to see what year 6 brings to you.

Dear School District,

  You have brought out a hatred in me that you've never seen before.  You tell me you share in my outrage after I entrusted you with my child's safety and well being and you "loose" him for 2 hours!?  Nah, you don't share in my outrage.  Your child wasn't the one that had to have a police man called to help search for him.  This goes down as the worst 1st day of school ever.  Like EVER!  

You messed with the wrong mama.  You see, I called the state on your ass and THEY gave me the ammunition to bring you down.  Bring it.  You won't know what hit you!
