Been MIA for awhile(not sure if anyone noticed). FIL died last week and its been crazy here.

I took everyone's advice and took DD to the wake and kept her with a sitter for the funeral. She did well considering.

Ds had been very quiet through out this ordeal until the end of the wake. He broke. I haven't seen him cry that hard since he was a little boy. My heart still aches.

Dh has been an emotional roller coaster.

Me? Can't even explain what I'm going through. I just know I need some normalcy back.

Now, did I miss anything while I was gone?

I am so sorry for your loss. What you said about Dom crying is making my heart ache for you guys. I really wish I could help you fast forward through these times as well
