Been MIA for awhile(not sure if anyone noticed). FIL died last week and its been crazy here.

I took everyone's advice and took DD to the wake and kept her with a sitter for the funeral. She did well considering.

Ds had been very quiet through out this ordeal until the end of the wake. He broke. I haven't seen him cry that hard since he was a little boy. My heart still aches.

Dh has been an emotional roller coaster.

Me? Can't even explain what I'm going through. I just know I need some normalcy back.

Now, did I miss anything while I was gone?

I'm so sorry for your loss. It will take some time to heal. I am still an emotional rollercoaster after losing my mom, but it's better. I wish your family all the best, and again, I'm so sorry for your loss. Big hugs to you all!

Hugs. Losing someone you love sucks. I'm the same way with wanting to just get things back to normal. Just don't forget to give yourself some time to grieve, too.
