Since I have become a mother, my hatred and disgust for snot has amplified.  It's not different when it's my own kid.  it's disgusting.  I've been peed on, pooped on, puked on.  I've been bled on, scratched, bitten.  But snot absolutely grosses me out.  I am all over my poor kid with Kleenexes and boogie wipes.  I suck out her nose 3 times a day when she has a cold.  Cannot.  Handle.  It. 

 

It does break my heart when she starts giving me kisses trying to avoid the snot sucker because she thinks I will stop if she gives me enough kisses.

Luckily Alice is only snotty during a cold. But I am pretty attached to her, wiping the snot. LOL
