I really want to like it as a full name, but all I hear is an old man talking to a little boy, "Hello there, sonny!" I love PP suggestion of using it as a NN for Soleil! So pretty. But you CAN use it on its own. Not everything needs a buttoned-up full name to be a grown person's given name.

Didn't the Obamas just name their new dog Sunny?  I'd only use it as a nn.
