My husband and I are TTC and we had our first unprotected sack session last night.....
AWKWARD !!!
Im sure its because of the added pressure.
Anyone else been there?

I personally choose not to take any hormonal BC so we always used condoms!  First couple times without were very strange indeed... I felt a little rebellious ;-)

I didnt block everyone... I didnt block you because you comment on my other post was plenty helpful and friendly. There are plenty of greyed out responses. Blocking is a wonderful feature. Im her for helpful and friendly people and if someone isn't going to be friendly then there is really no need to hear what they have to say.

I normally only lurk on this board but you say you are looking for helpful responses so here goes...in your other post "is it reasonable" you said you just started AF on Saturday.  So the chances of ovulating three days later are really slim...I would take the advice given in the other post and read TCOYF, maybe start charting, so you have a better idea of when your body is actually ready to conceive.  Although, I am sure the post-sex chanting helped.

oh I know I'm probably not ovulating but I thought you didn't have to be ovulating to get pregnant. Its just WAY more likely you will while ovulating. I haven't done my own charting but I have an app I started using, same thing though right?

Simply put the egg moving threw the tubes to where it can be greeted by a sperm.... Simply put haha

Yes, its very unfortunate... and they cant figure out why teen pregnancy rates are so high. The amount I do know is from awkward conversations with my mom haha. Shes a good lady though, but shes not a sex ed teacher

Like I wrote before, I think you would definitely benefit from reading TCOYF.  Check out the fertility friend app and do the tutorials as others suggested.  You can have sex all you want, but if you are not doing it within the right window, all the chanting in the world won't get the sperm to the egg.

The internet can be your friend but it can also be a too much information to keep track of. I already downloaded the app. I'll check the references as well. I feel like we all think we know how everything down there works until we REALLY need to use it... then is like.... *blank stare* haha its a lot easier to understand down there when you aren't trying to make a human being

@Kflanders24 I just posted something similar to this in your intro thread but I feel where you're coming from! Our sex Ed consisted of a 30 yr old woman coming to talk to us about how she got pregnant in high school ( she was the prom queen) and that we need to wait for marriage because Jesus says so. NO JOKE! Then we were shown some slides of genitals infected with severe cases of syphilis, herpes, and warts. That was it! Now, everyone thinks that you just get married, stop bc and magically become pregnant. Charting and reading about fertility are considered "trying too hard." I've seen so many women being told to "just relax and let it happen" and all they are doing is charting!

I thought it was trying to hard to do all this too, but then I decided that if we are actively trying to get pregnant we should ACTIVELY try and get pregnant. So I'm gonna start charting. Also part of why I wish we hadn't waited to start. Hope it happens quick
