I slept so much yesterday that I was not tired! Oh well on the bright side I am 30WEEKS today woot woot and after today's 17p shot only 5 more left thank you lord... :-)
Yesterday my friends sent me a tray of rice with beans and a tray of spaghetti (ton of carbs) it should last us for a week :-) I am so appreciated that my friends send me food for the week so my DH doesn't have to slave over the stove after work.
My little one was on a roll yesterday kicking all day lol. I've noticed she always does that the day before her next gestation wk.. I have been feeling very full lately and having a hard time getting comfy in bed.
Qotd: on 9/11/01 I was laying in bed my mom came into my room and turned on my tv and told me there was a terrorist attack in manhattan (I live in the Bronx NYC) I didn't really understand what she meant because I was half asleep. When I finally registered what was going on I was in complete shock and began trying to call ppl but lines were down. I had so many friends down town thank god I didn't lose anyone. NYC is a fast pace city but for a few wks it was moving in slow motion. Ppl were still in shocked and scared.

I was a senior in high school, I played sick that day so I was at home watching tv when my show cut out and I saw what was happening.
9/11- I was working at UBS at the time. We watched the attacks on tv in shock. Stock market was closed for days so I spent lots of time with my family.
I'm 33 weeks today! I can't believe it
Apt yesterday was a little disappointing since my blood pressures have been slightly higher than normal so the peri said to have my bags packed and everything ready before my 34 week apt in case they are still high it's hospital obs for me
I'm still aiming for 37!!!
Sawyer was measuring 5lbs 1oz and has a really big head and yummy cheeks
Qotd I was in class and my bf at the time knocked on the window and got me out we watched everything in Spanish class. I couldn't really wrap my mind around what was happening. They let everyone out of school. Total chaos. So we went to this wing place with all our friends trying to make sense of what was happening. I think of 9.11 everytime I eat wings and say a silent prayer.

I had an OB appt yesterday and NST. I was contracting but not enough to cause concern. Both babies are looking healthy and growing on track. I know they need to stay put as long as possible, but I'm getting anxious and extremely uncomfortable!
9/11 - I was in my middle school social studies class and another teacher came running into the room and turned our TV on. Our teacher talked about it and answered our questions about what was going on as best he could. I didn't fully understand what was happening until later that night.
QOTD: I was getting ready for school and had the tv on, but was listening, not watching. I heard the story and automatically thought it was one of those small Cesna type sightseeing planes accidentally clipped a building. I guess my brain couldn't comprehend a big plane. I went to school and all the tv's in the general area were on the news. My project group was meeting early to finish our project and we were working hard until one of us looked up and pointed out what was really happening. Classes were cancelled for the day. We had lots of students from NYC and Washington. One of my friend's dad was in the Pentagon but was ok. I still can't comprehend what happened.

QOTD: I was sleeping when my then boyfriend, now husband called to tell me what was going on. I was glued to the TV for days. I remember holding my breath waiting to hear from a friend who had departed from Boston ---->LAX. Thankfully no one I knew was directly effected. So sad still and I can't believe we are 12 years out.
How did everyone sleep? Amazingly, I got 2 stretches of 3 hours of sleep!! There were a few other 1-2 hours sleeps in there too - but I can't tell you the last time I slept for 3 hours straight! Is it normal to sleep better on bed rest???
Milestone? Updates? Appts? Today is the last day of my first week of bed rest. So, one week down and six more (hopefully) to go. Still can't believe I made it through one week!
QOTD: where were you during 9/11? I was a sophomore in college - I was sleeping when the first plane crashed. My roommate came busting in the room and turned on the TV and I was just waking up to the second plane - I couldn't believe it. She was talking gibberish. Her aunt was at the Pentagon and my mom was traveling through NYC at the time. We were both a mess - and the phone lines were all down so we couldn't get ahold of our families. Also, it was the first time KSU had ever canceled classes completely since the infamous KSU shootings. Campus was eerily quiet and everybody was terrified.
9/11 was the day after my dads funeral when I was 15 years old. I was pretty sure that the world was actually ending after that. I still have a hard time with this date because it brings up so many emotions for me. I'm not too sure how happy I am that the baby could have this birthday. Maybe I can hold him in until after midnight.
