A&A Dream Blanket reviews?

DD has been in a Grobag sleep sack since about 4 months. She is starting to get too long for the largest size. I want to introduce a blanket now to see how she does. Something light/mid weight that won't add too much bulk/heat to her sleeping. I like the look and reviews of Dream Blanket by Aden and Anais. I'd likely have to get 2 since we like to have laundry rotation so at $50 a pop they are pricey.

Do they wash/wear well. are they good for multi-season use. DD is in short sleeves in summer, cotton footies in fall and fleece footies at the coldest months.

Re: A&A Dream Blanket reviews?

  • DS got a A&A Dream Blanket for his 1st birthday.  It is worth the $50 price tag, IMO.  The size is great for a toddler.  All of the blankets he got as a baby are all too small now, but the A&A is signficantly larger while still being an appropriate size.

The feel of the blanket is great.  It's not like the fleece blankets that show wear after a few washes.

  • I personally have a ton of blankets in many weights for each of my kids that people gave us, so I haven't had to buy any blankets.  I did get my son a quilt for his bed, but his other blankets are knitted ones given to us.  Have you checked your stash before buying a new one?  Also, if you like sleep sacks, Halo makes one with foot holes for toddlers.

Of course I say this with a reticence to spend $50 on a blanket, but I'm pretty sure I spent more on the toddler bed quilt I bought for my son's bed...  Of course, I wouldn't want to spend $50 unless I got to see it first, or at least purchased froma place with a good return policy!
