GD taking insulin Mamas

For those of you taking insulin - are you having a snack as well as the insulin?
I have an appointment on Thursday with my diabetes nurse and will ask then, but I was just curious what you mamas are doing.....

At bedtime? Yes, I still had a snack. I usually did the injection and ate something about an hour before going to bed.

I do eat a snack still. Depending on when I had dinner I usually try to eat my snack about 30 minutes before bed and do the injection right before I lay down.
