@Loppy19 what does prodromal labor feel like? Not sure if I'm phrasing this correctly, but I'm curious to hear if it sounds anything like the labor-like contraction episodes I'm having...

I am due on the28th and I will be on maternity leave on Friday. I have being begging my doc to induce me based upon convenience and I was shot down last week. She promised to induce me if I am 4 cm dilated and I am only 1cm. I do not want to bitch but I am so tired of being pregnant. I will rant if I have to keep this baby past 40 weeks.

Due the 27th I have been on bed rest for hbp since 32 weeks. I'm so tired if being pregnant. I saw my doctor yesterday I'm not dilated but I'm 70%effaced.

I am due on September 25.  I ready to be done with work....stress, long hours and having to walk alot (slowly).  I am working until September 20 which is a Friday.  I hope my baby comes before October.  I don't know though because I have not had any signs of approaching labor.

Um. I have to agree with the doctor on that. Unless you're having health problems, I think it's pretty irresponsible for a doctor to induce because yours sick of being pregnant.

Due on the 27th, too, and am also feeling comfortable and pretty normal. I haven't had contractions, per se, but I've had what feel just like menstrual cramps for about a week or so now. Just once or twice a day for about 10 mins. Doc appointment tomorrow (Wednesday), and I turn 38 weeks on Friday. Past 2 appointments I've been 2 cm, so I'm one of the oddballs hoping to still be 2cm this week's check. I'd LOVE for this baby to come just a few days late, so he could be an October baby like his mom and dad. Fingers (and legs) crossed!

Due on the 25th so 2 more weeks (we aren't letting this one go overdue like DD1).  Not feeling any contractions but I wasn't expecting them since I never did last time until my water broke (about 18 hours into my induction).  Pretty uncomfortable due to pelvis/hip issues but physical therapy is helping a lot.  I still have a lot I want to accomplish around the house so I'm hoping she stays inside another 10 days or so.

Hang in there ladies! My EDD was 9/24 but baby girl made her appearance on 9/9. Enjoy whatever rest you can get while you get it! I never imagined I would go early...it kind of miss some aspects of being pregnant. It's strange to not feel the movement (and feel much thinner already!), but there is something so cool about the whole experience. Wishing you all the best of luck with your deliveries to come!

@Loppy19 - thanks! ... Just wasn't sure if they were a certain type of ctrxn - my OB said what I was experiencing was NOT BH, based on intensity, duration, and the general nature of them, but they keep copping out on me on a daily basis. Wasn't sure if what she was describing is the same thing.... Seems like maybe... I see a different OB today and can ask for more info. After 5 PGs I feel like I'm still learning new stuff!

They say that all pregnancies are different! @4Angel5 - my contractions were not regular in length or time when I was admitted at 7 cm and 90% effaced (they had been that way for nearly two days).

@Habs2Hart Not ours!  We have to go to St. Catherine's area.  It's quite a drive, but I am SO EXCITED to go.  I hope I still feel that way when the time comes!

Due the 29th. Glad to see so many others who are toward the end like me. I've been feeling like I've been hit by a bus and that my body is wearing down a little bit more each day. Just when I think I couldn't get any more uncomfortable, I do. It's depressing me.

I'm overjoyed for my healthy baby. It just feels like the physical AND mental health of my own body is declining.

Of course I'd kill for a glass of wine. But in my line of thinking, I've made it this far without it, why not a little longer. I'd also kill for a good sleep and a good poop. At least I can look forward to the wine. I'm not sure how my body will deal PP with the other two. 

Anyway, I guess this vent was a little moody. The other day I got a jolt of positivity and told myself I really need to enjoy these last few days/weeks of pregnancy. 

That didn't last long.

I'm due the 21st, so technically 10 days from todau.  I've been pretty miserable and uncomfortable for a couple weeks now.  At my last appointment, I was 3cm and 80% effaced, and head was low, so I'm just waiting....waiting waiting waiting.  I resigned from my teaching job at the end of the school year so I haven't had work to keep me occupied, although I'm kind of glad because I can't imagine dealing with drama filled 7th graders right now.  DH and I finished our "Baby To-Do" list last week because I was convinced Baby would be early....now I just keep trying to find things to keep me busy but not exerting too much energy because the contractions and the pressure are so uncomfortable. 
Seeing all of the squishy babies make me wish I could meet mine soon!!!!!!

I'm due the 30th. Was 2cm at my appt yesterday, but of course that's meaningless. I'm a SAHM to a crazy active toddler, and I'm having a lot of trouble keeping up with him, especially in the unseasonably warm heat! I'm getting very uncomfortable.

I did schedule myself a mani/pedi today, and am very excited about it! Not getting to pamper myself much, so this is a big indulgence!! And DH is officially no longer traveling overnight, so at least I probably don't have to do bedtime on my own anymore.

39 weeks tomorrow and I am so ready to meet my little girl! The discomfort in everything I do hadn't been easy. I have terrible acid reflux all day, can't sleep at night and feel like my belly is going to drop to the floor every time I walk. The doctor said I will be induced at 41 weeks (looking forward to it as much as I am scared/nervous) if she isn't here by then. It will of course be worth it as soon as I see her, it's just been a whole new experience being pregnant. It's nice to hear all your experiences and how you are all doing!

So OB/midwife today said to wait until they feel "different" and not to base it on intensity as these were obviously intense, but not doing anything. DH said, but they've been different the past 2 nights. MW said, "well, this must be your new norm...you made it to the hospital in time before haven't you? You'll know..." I remember wanting to wring the neck of the OB who told me that 3 times in one day when I was a FTM, and I delivered the next morning. Can't believe I'm back in that boat again... Sigh... It is what it is. I'm not in a rush, just concerned I won't make it to the hospital in time.

38 weeks today, nearly 3cm and 80% effaced...his head is nice and low! COME ON BABYYY! My heartburn, swollen feet, carpal tunnel hands, and crampy legs are ready to have this baby! Very anxious and excited- first time mom, and anticipating when labor might kick in, and how the whole labor/delivery process will feel..is driving me nuts. I've had quite the nesting urge, but low energy..so not a whole lot getting done. Luckily the nursery was done months ago, and we're all set for his arrival! Can't wait to meet our son, and to get my body back..ha!
