go to doctor?

I need advice. My left eyelid has been swollen for 3 days. It makes me look like my eye is half closed. It is making me self conscious, but it is not painful. I have tried warm and cold compresses, and cucumbers, but nothing has really made it better. Would you make a doctor appointment? I dont want to pay for an appointment of there is nothing they can do.

not benadryl, but is claritin an antihistamine? I took that.

Well, I'm with you in the swollen eyelid lid. Except mine has been painful. I've been getting these ridiculous recurring styes in left eye, ugh. My eye dr has said that some people are just "prone" to them..and allergies can exacerbate them. Ugh.

But since you said yours isn't painful at all, it probably isn't a stye. If you've already tried antihistamines with no success, a call to the dr wouldnt hurt I guess.
